The music of Piers Faccini seems to come from another planet. Or from the moon maybe. So beautiful, so magic, so special. And in the meantime this is such a human music. Can’t help thinking “how is it possible”. And that is what’s magic maybe “you dont know how it works, but you can tell how it makes you feel”. Piers Faccini’s music makes me feel good, inside and outside.

Intro: What song would you like people to listen to when reading your answers?

Any of the songs i’ve done would do, i’d like to think that everything i’ve written so far would be compatible with an answer i might give regarding my music.

How is going the « two grains of sand » tour?

it’ great, i have a fantastic band, laetitia sheriff and simone prattico, we have fun and the music deep with them. it’s a privilige i’m never blase about to be able to play before a crowd..i spent many years without an audience si i know!

Any plans for the coming two years?

i’d like to tour more but i’m also recording new material at the moment.

An artist you would love make a duet with?

There are many many more artists that audience can directly listen to (even if they are lost in the twists and turns of the internet). Good thing? Or was-it better before when you had to pass through the filter of a label ?

i think its great that labels can more and more circumnavigated however the down side is that the quality control is gone so you get lost in the shher quantity of music produced which very often sounds the same..our ears need arest from time to time!

What comes to your mind when looking at this video ?

i look kind of pissed off, it was a lame situation but in a way because of thats its interesting..who knows

that it’s an industry.

watching my two sons jam on a drum and a toy guitar! pure music! one is 4 and the other is 1!
